Reports

Ventilation is required in the attic and crawlspace and should be open all year long. A lack of attic or crawlspace ventilation is often over looked as a potential problem in a home. Constant circulation of air in the attic prevents heat and moisture build up. Excess heat and moisture are two factors that can affect shingle life and the longevity of the roof decking and structural framing. Excess moisture accumulating in the crawlspace can cause destructive mold on floor framing.
Common defects;
Missing vents
Vents are not fully cut open
Non-working power vents
Inadequate vent sizing
