Should I accept an agent referral for an inspector
Typically a list of inspectors is offered to the client and the client is asked to pick an inspector for the inspection. Agents usually have weeded out the inspectors that are not professional or knowledgeable and know that referring an "easy" inspector to a client may cause less problems in the short term but often these "easy" inspectors miss important issues! More often than not, the agents discovered this information the hard way and you should consider taking advantage of their experience when looking for an inspector.
